With a mild almost sub-tropical climate and warmth from the Gulf Stream, Cornwall has some of the most beautiful gardens in the UK. Each has its own unique qualities and almost all are in spectacular settings – and easy to reach from the house.
February and March are best for camellias and magnolias; April and May spring bulbs, apple blossom, azaleas and sub-tropical shrubs; June and July roses, hydrangeas and exotic succulents; and September and October viburnums and acers.
