The terrace at the front of the house leads onto the lawn where there is a massive stone trough found in the house during the restoration and probably used for salting food but which is now planted with lavender.
There is a splendid slate table with matching benches to seat the whole party, plenty of loungers and garden furniture and a Weber charcoal barbeque. Perfect for having lunch or a barbeque watching the sun setting over the sea.
This area, which extends to half an acre or so, is bounded by Cornish slate walls and a flower bed.
The drive runs around the house to a large gravelled area at the back of the building. There is parking for at least 6 cars.
